a day off
Almost surreal to be born and bred in Singapore and suddenly thrown into a false reality in the streets of Los Angeles, Far Far Away, space-age Battlestar Galactica (I'm a proud Cylon now!), Madagascar and ANCIENT EGYPT. Gotta say, I was most excited by the Egyptian part more than anything else (look at the "Egyptian" guy on stilts), although walking down the street of New York was pretty atmospheric too. The set of Steven Spielberg's act was mad cool, the first time I witnessed how certain scenes are recorded. Also, I think I got over-excited to see icons like Marilyn Monroe, Betty Boop and Charlie Chaplin. I vaguely remember spazzing out and doing 100m dashes towards them to take photos... Vaguely remember. And of course.. all this with my beautiful lot, Shan, Jah, Haff, Marcel (and Shan's bro, Ian).
